Yet right alongside them in terms of quality and age-ability were the wines of Francois Jobard, who produced from several of the very same vineyard sites. Around that same time, Antoine Jobard took over from his father (in 2007) and gradually pushed the level of perfectionism even higher. Following his father's methods of longer elevage, in-barrel fermentations and long lees contact, Antoine's next step as to elevate the farming; biodynamic methods were instituted, and the noticeable changes are in the wines approachability in their youth, but also the exuberance and charm of the fruit in genral.
