The vines are grown at the bottom the Rías Baixas appellation, on the banks of the river Minho, which forms a natural border between Spain and its neighbour Portugal. This comes from a 44-year-old vineyard in Aldea do Monte in Lois, and it fermented and matured in raw 375-liter white clay amphorae for six months. This is very different from the rest of the Albariños, even they consider it a rarity. It has a mellow palate with an ethereal feeling to it, with great purity, elegance and fine minerality.
