Taken from vineyard parcels in both Eltsville (80%) and Lorch (20%). It aims to be a representation of the Rheingau terroir, fermented in stainless steel, with a slight maceration on the skins followed by 4 to 9 months on fine lees. A dry Riesling that provides an excellent introduction to Fricke’s expressive yet precise style, with great salinity, and a pleasure to drink.

98 Points - James Suckling
At first intensely flinty, after some aeration in the glass a citrus microcosmos, populated entirely by ripe lemon, bergamot, pomelo and yellow grapefruit opens up. Extremely concentrated and radical on the medium-bodied palate, this knocks almost all of the dry rieslings of the 2022 vintage off the table with its gigantic energy. The wet-stone minerality and Amalfi-lemon freshness build and build to a giant crescendo at the mind-bending finish. From organically grown grapes. Vegan. Drinkable now, but best from 2025.

94 Points - Falstaff
A little closed on the nose, yeasty, cool air, sea breeze in the morning, bright clear fruit, vineyard peach, fresh apricots, salt lemons, meadow herbs. On the palate juicy, with drive, deep and elegant, toasted notes, salty, fine acidity, still very youthful, patience pays off, definitely put away.

Product size: 750ml

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0275/0441/0666/files/Eva_Fricke_Lorcher_Krone_Trocken_Riesling_Rheingau_Germany_2022_2722c070-e2d1-49ab-8df4-18d714dfcf2f.jpg?v=1762865214
