We do everything possible to express the chalky soil of our great terroirs as passionate craftsmen.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eChampagne grower-producer, our wines come exclusively from our own vineyards. Our house currently operates just over 19 hectares of Chardonnay, mainly located in the communes of Le Mesnil sur Oger, Oger, Avize and Cramant.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOur family has developed from generation to generation, its own selection of grapes (mass selection). We have been able to maintain and age vineyards which are now 30-years old on average. The mousse is fine and regular with a pretty ribbon of strong bubbles. The first approach is subtle which, once aerated, opens to floral notes (lime-tree) and dried fruits. Notes of citrus and almond follow with finishing touches of minerality bringing both complexity and elegance. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eOther than vintages marked by hot and dry growing seasons, L’Esprit typically has a well-balanced attack which is both frank and stylishly elegant. Delicate notes of lemon and stone fruit and flowers are followed by notes of tangerine and toasted bread. The finish is persistent with candied citrus flavors and a chalky minerality that adds a twist of salinity.
